I went out to visit an old cemetery in Justice, Illinois that is known for a very famous ghost, Resurrection Mary. It is said that she died in a car accident in the 1920s and periodically haunts the area by roaming Archer Avenue at night looking for a ride to either the Willowbrook Ballroom or back to her home in Chicago. There was not much out of the ordinary in the cemetery or near the ballroom.
When I went back to visit another old site, St. James Sag Catholic Church, that is said to be haunted (I used to go to church here when growing up), I did see one thing that I remembered caught my attention every Sunday mass. It was the "eye of god" just like the Eye of Providence. Here it is inside the church:
