Apache Tears

I was going through my rock collection the other day and came across a bag of Apache Tears.  Apache tears are obsidian rocks (volcanic rocks).  They are black and can be shiny when polished.  The name comes from the legend of about 75 Paleo-Native Americans who were fighting the US Calvary that chose to ride over a mountain cliff rather than surrender.
