The Inuit, Throat Singing

The Inuit are a people that reside in the Artic regions of America, Greenland, and Canada.  They have adapted to the hardships of living in cold climiate.  They have their own set of gods/goddesses and stories of giants and little people.  It is likely that the Vikings encountered the Inuit people when they came to Greenland.  The Inuit tell stories of raiders from other tribes as well as from the giants.   The little people were not able to compete with the surrounding Inuit and Giants.

One very interesting part of their culture is throat singing. Here are some youtube videos with examples:
